Endlich auch mal News aus dem Nordosten! Seit den Winterferien basteln wir 5 (manchmal auch 6) Mädchen aus dem Leipziger Nordosten wie wild an alten Fahrrädern rum. Unsere Fahrradexpertinnen Nicci und Linda helfen uns dabei. Nachdem wir alle, ein für unsere Größe passendes Gefährt gefunden haben, ging´s richtig los. Zuerst wurde mal geschaut, was an den Rädern alles gemacht werden muss. Jede von uns konnte ein eigenes Plakat entwerfen, auf dem festgehalten wurde, was gemacht werden muss und was dringend dafür is required. We not only every great on a bicycle but potter around even on a tandem. For those who do not yet know, a tandem is a bicycle for two. If you knew that already, then you know also determined that a bicycle two wheels, handlebars, and of course also has a chain. First off a little explanation: Such a chain has a lot of individual members and these members are from small rods connected, this is called rivets. But you probably already know. So, the chain of our tandem was totally rusted, the new one was needed. Since there was no Matching unfortunately, we have two chains with two chain locks connected. They are so small brackets. Well, the first bracket was slightly, but then came the Second ... We tried everything to fix the clamp on it, but nothing came. Meanwhile, nearly two hours had rum. We were close to despair, very close, as Antje finally got the bright idea. She walked casually to the vice and pressed the link, which we did not attempt it with our finger strength, easy close. The solution was so simple - whoosh and spent the chain. We cheered for joy ... By the way - soon to be rotated about a movie. Take precaution, but with a pillow - the first hour could be very boring - but the end is awesome.
