plans to publish a collection of essays on "lyrics in Metal," which deals with issues of reception and understanding of metal-Lyrics: What themes are present and how are these issues? What do the lyrics for the fan and how these meanings are negotiated? What is the relevance of Metal-texts - as a critical and popular cultural commentary, as a way of escapism and as avant-garde literature? What impact have generic and intertextual relationship and textual Arguments with literary and mythical role models? The publication aims to combine text and cultural studies, also an interdisciplinary perspective is sought, including the music-scientific, historical and educational perspectives. It is also directed to a non-scientific audience, so that general surveys, a non-technical style and practical examples are encouraged. Final papers should include about 5000-10000 words; Abstracts of up to 300 words should be sent to at 01/08/2011
